Cardiff’s craft beer enthusiasts are a right spoilt lot at the moment and are about to get showered in even more ales as Miss Jones is to host its very own craft beer festival.
The shelves of the Whitchurch based bar will welcome brews from the likes of Bath Ales, Bristol Beer Factory, West Wales’ Jacobi Brewery and Meantime Brewery between Monday 19 and Monday 26, but the main event will see one of the capital’s top craft beer contenders commandeer the bar.
“It’s a week long festival,” explained Dan Boobier, the bar’s manager, “but the main day will be Saturday 24 when Pipes will be taking over the taps of our outside bar from 12 midday to 1am.”
As well as delighting the guests with an array of beers (with more to be confirmed), Dan and the team at Miss Jones will sufficiently satisfy the and bellies of those in attendance. “It will be a garden party with live music, an outside bar and a locally sourced, organic BBQ,” said Miss Jones’ Marketing Coordinator, Emily Isaac, which is enough to get any mouth watering.
“We will have live music all day,” continued Dan, which culminates in a performance by Cardiff based acoustic musician, John Godwin.
