Brains baker’s bike delivers beer

What’s the worst thing that could possibly happen on match day except from losing to England? Running out of beer obviously! But have no fear as Brains is here to save the day… with a bike.

The campaign, dubbed Beer SOS, will see a pimped out baker’s bike make its way through the city centre on Saturday between 11am and 1pm, ahead of the Wales v Scotland game to make sure the capital’s pubs don’t run dry of the official ale of the WRU.

Head brewer and avid cyclist, Bill Dobson, said, “The Six Nations is bigger for us than Christmas and some of our pubs sell a week’s worth of beer in one match day alone. Because a pint of Brains and a visit to a Brains pub have always gone hand in hand with international rugby in Wales, we’d hate to disappoint fans by running short of Wales’ best loved beer.

“The Brains SOS bike will be on standby on Saturday for pubs who need an emergency beer order-the perfect matchday solution!”

Jon Adams, manager at the Yard added, “Match day is incredibly busy so it’s great the brewery is putting on these SOS deliveries to keep fans in stock of SA.”
