Back in January I pitched the idea of the blog to be made into a magazine by my fellow Master students as part of our degree in magazine journalism at Cardiff University. The project has taken huge strides since I first presented the idea of a beer and meat magazine and today we finished the very first issue. Weeks of work have lead up to this moment; this was our Everest, our Moon landing, our crowning jewel. We’ve not only made a printed issue, we’ve got an online version, a tablet version and a mobile edition.
We’ve busted our balls filming farmers, drinking with rappers, interviewing brewers and cooking up storms in our student kitchens and so, without further ado; Grill & Barrel Magazine.
